As budget shortfalls became apparant, the Missouri Senate was ready to pass a bill that would increase taxes in the gaming industry. The proposed tax would, not only be the highest in the nation, but unfairly tax the gaming industry triple what other businesses paid. Ameristar Casinos asked Glennon to create an informative, visually impactful campaign to inform Missourians of the economic benefits of gaming and the consequences of higher taxes. The Senate bill was eventually dropped and never came to a vote.
